Hello,
My workflow starts in Revit where all of my model information resides etc..,
Next I bring into 3ds Max where I will need to unwrap and set color id's on some models.
Question is after unwrapping and setting color ID's on some models, do I need to redo this every time for the same model when I start a new project in Revit with the same model that will be linked into max? Is there a way to take the linked previously unwrapped model with color ids and somehow reapply them in 3ds Max without doing all of the work again?
The other idea is if I were to have a library of unwrapped models with color IDs spelled out with preset materials, how would I get that information back into 3ds Max when starting a new Revit project via linked method in 3ds max? Would it work with FBX exports if not linked?
Please advise on how to save 3ds max unwrapped model and color id information on linked or FBX imported models from Revit?
Thanks!
