As seen on video when painting skin weights performance is poor, i see a spike on, and only on, my 4th processor thread which i suppose is a single thread operation but should be this slow? My CPU is from 2016, is not that old too see such poor performance, mesh is 30k poly, about ~80 bones rig, tried to change tree depth and lag rate as seen on some tips on a post from someone with the same problem, didn't work.

It is know bug in older versions of max. It was already fixed in modern versions.
