Skin Wrap ignores parts of the mesh

Hello Creators,

I am animating a female Athlete and i have a problem animating her hair. She has a tail as your can see in the picture. Her tail shall wobble as she moves her head. I am trying to accomplish that by attaching a Box (with a flex modifier) via Skin Wrap to the Tail. It works great, but for some reason there are parts of the tail geometry that the programm stubbornly ignores. These parts stay in their original position no matter what. I am shure its a simple mistake on my end, but i can`t figure out what to do. PLz Help!

Consider using the 'Weight all points' option.

When i activate this option the front part of the hair goes totally crazy. Looks like Max is giving them weight too, soo it floats around.

But one thing it did, the holes in the tail are gone. Linda-Hair-3.jpg

Ok, i think i found the trick. When activate the "weight all points" Option AND activate the "blend to base Mesh" Option, it seems to work!

I will have to adjust the Falloff Distance, but other than that, it works fine! Thank you aon, you brought me on the right path.Linda-Hair-4.jpg
