Hi,

 

I'm working on a side project and have decided to have a go at rigging a robot mesh.

 

An issue I'm having is trying to work out how to rig the claws/hands of the robot so they all move in together at the same time.

 

My lecturer has told me to look into using bones instead of biped Xtras.

 

I've also been told to research the Reaction Manager and Wire Parameters, which I have looked up on but I'm struggling to find any information or a tutorial on how to complete the task.

 

I've attached an image of the mesh and the current rig so far.

 

I'm using Biped, but if anyone can suggest a better alternative, feel free.

Nevermind, managed to figure out how to use wire parameters and a slider control.
