Hi all!
Sounds simple. Except it does not work. I have animated group, with the objects that have their individual animation inside. I need to replace one object in that group with a new design. Substitute modifier does not work, it replaces all parts in the group. File>Import > Replace does not work, because several group objects, including the replaced part changes their position and rotation. I cannot ungroup, because I will loose complex animation of the group. Tried copy pasting group animation to a clone group (by Save/Load animation) - also didn't work. What should I do? I need to sort out project at work after the 3D person left. P.S. I'm novice, and have minimal training, if you suggest solution, please tell me where to find it. Many thanks!
