PF Source geometry not visible in render

Hi,

I trying to create a fairly simple particle system using 2 events to create instanced shapes that are attracted to an invisible object. In the viewports it all works fine. Everything is smooth and visible. In the render however there is absolutely nothing. No geometry at all. Am I just being a total beginner?

Any ideas?

Thanks

Dear

I understand that you expect in render to have the same that you have on viewports and you have nothing. Isn't it?

could you post your max file?

So I downloaded some fairly polygon heavy models of coral and i then got a bit fancy (by my standards) and i used PF to scatter elements within the group over a plane that I'd mapped with a radial gradient ramp. So I have a nice distribution that's circular and avoids the centre like i wanted. The problem comes at render time though: ShowBox Lucky Patcher Kodi My bounding boxes are visible everywhere, the geometry is visible in the viewport but I hit render and less than half shows up. What's the go here?Any thoughts? Is there a limit to the poly count of geometry that PF can scatter? Although that wouldn't be it because it is scattering just not rendering out, even with BSP2 on mental ray.
