Issues exportinging morpher animation as FBX to use in Unity

Hello 3DS Max community,

I have been stuck on this for +five days now and I feel like I am going to implode! Please help me.

I am trying to export a model that is animated with morpher in 3DS as a .FBX for use in Unity. However everytime I export the model it loses it's animation.

I have followed countless tutorials and forum queries in an attempt to get past this but nothing seems to work.

Video detailing issue here:

Any pointes would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
M

Hi @Anonymous !

I suspect you tried that, just in case; Is it also not animated when re-imported in Max ?

Would you mind trying this work around ?

Select Skin modifer, right-click > Copy
Then delete it and paste it back.
Export.

Let me know if this fixes the issue or not ?

I am also having issues with the FBX exporter.

I'm using the Game Exporter to create the FBX for use in Unity too.

However I need to use the "Animation Clips" to create Takes (animation segments), but when doing this the morpher animations are ignored.

Any solutions to use both the morpher modifier and the Animation Clips?

Thanks,
Dean
