Hi,

I'm making an animation of a swimmingpool. the first seconds the swimmingpool will turn to see the outside. Then the roof etcetera fade to see the inside. But now i want to zoom in on some parts on the inside. How should i do that?

greetings,

If you are using a target camera you can simply move the camera closer to its target to zoom in.  If you are using a free camera you can move the camera closer to the point of interest.  For either type camera you can  increase the lens value of the camera thus in effect transitioning from a "normal" lens to a telephoto lens.

BTW, your fading options for objects may be limited by the renderer you use.  For example, neither ART or Arnold support a visibility track for objects.  You would need to adjust the object's transparency which could lead to unwanted artifacts.   Controlling visibility as I describe here will work with Scanline, Quicksilver  or the Mental Rays renderers but not with Arnold or ART.
