How can I move part of animation to side when it is whole animated biped

Hi, I am a student and learning animation. While doing this, I finished animating with biped and notice that I want to move the animated biped to side a little bit. I heard there is a way to move part of animated biped but don't know how. Can you tell me there is a way?

What do you mean by "part of animated biped"? Do you want, for example, to have a head still play same animation, but few meters away from the body?
