Hello to everyone. So I have an FBX of a rigged figure that was initially created as a biped. I don't have the original Max file because it was exported as an FBX. Is it possible to import an FBX rigged character and convert it to Biped using a script?
There is a script at Scriptspot, but to be honest I am not sure if it works.

Give it a try, it reportedly works best if the .fbx was initially created as max biped and exported to .fbx which is your case.
If that doesn't work, Autodesk made a script that works to convert an .fbx rig generated by Autodesk Character Generator to Max Biped rig called CharacterGenerator_FbxToBiped.ms. You get a copy of this script when you create and download a character from Character Generator (selecting the the 3ds Max option when you generate the character).
When you unzip the downloaded character, you will see the script there. But the script assumes the specific naming convention for the bones (and maybe the character mesh as well) so you would have to carefully check the naming of all parts of your .fbx rig vs. a Character Generator .fbx . If you change the names accordingly, I still don't know if this will work for you , but I thought it worth pointing out this option.
Autodesk Character Generator comes with you Max subscription and is available via the main menu bar, Help>3ds Max Resources and Tools>Character Generator.
Hope it helps.
