CAT rig - adjusting bones after skinning

I'm new to 3ds MAX rigging and rigging my first character.  Surprised there's not a simple "SETUP" mode where you can tweak bones AFTER the initial skinning (like in MODO/Lightwave).  Seems logical it would be simply turning off the SKIN modifier, but that didn't work.

ANSWER:

You can do it, but it's buried in the Advanced tab of the Skin Modifier.  See picture.  Turn off Skin modifier, uncheck that box, and then adjust your bones.  Turn Skin modifier back on.

Wanted to post the question and the answer in the forums, because I'm sure this will come up with someone else, and I didn't see the answer on a forum search.
