Ok so this is a doosy, What im looking to do is to create a plane to use as a tv screen this would be placed or fit to the tv model. Here it the kicker, I want to use a video as a texture. Now i did some research and from what i found i need to render the video as an image sequence which i did and it worked i was able to get the image sequence to play on the plane. Now the hard part I tried to export the plane as an obj and in the maps i just had 1 image. not sure how to make this work but i could use a little help as i am just learning 3ds max. Now for the part that is probably going to have you pulling out your hair, lol so ultimatly i want to use this model in a fivem server so im assuming at some point im going to have to take it from a obj/fbx to a ytd and yft so any pointers in the right direction there would be helpful as well.

Thanks for any help you can give!

Max converts an image sequence to an .ifl file which is a text file that lists each image of the sequence in order followed by the frame that image should be displayed (see link).

But as far as I know this .ifl file format is not recognized by many/most other applications and when you export from max, I am guessing that only the first image in the image sequence is being recognized as the assigned image to your plane (TV screen) object.   So depending on what application you want to import the plane object into you should be able to just assign the actual original image sequence you rendered to the plane in that application to get the animation to play.  You will need to check the documentation of your target application to see how to assign an image sequence to an object's material.  Hopefully this is clear, but if not post your questions.
