Screen flashes when using civil3D 2025

I have a civil3d 2025 student account.

When using the program screen flashes if i am in the window of civil. When i go out of civil window the problem stops. It flashes and stutters for a milisecond on any selection of button, option or line.

If i have a split window with 2 programs, ehen in civil the whole screen flashes and stutters, when i use chrome for example the flashing stops.

Hardware - RTX 4070, Ryzen 7900x, 32gb DDR5 RAM

All of drivers are up to date and GPU drivers have been reinstalled.

what could be the problem and the solution?

@kristaps_krastins_2 Start here (long list of items to do) if simply turning off GFXDX12 variable then restarting your C3D2025 does not help

I have done all of these solution resolvements.
I dont see any improvements when i am using only autocad.

I just tried to screen record the problem, but it does not show on the recording. Once when screen recording it just stopped but re-started when i ended screen recording.

Just reinstalled newest drivers for everything. Only autocad is making this problem so i cant see the hardware being faulty.

Make sure that CAD is recognizing your graphics card. I have seen issues where it recognizes the onboard video instead of the GPU. You can see which one Civil 3d is recognizing with the 3dconfig.

If you are an admin, go into the command prompt and run SFC /scannow

Update your systems graphics drivers.  I see several issues like this that are fixed with updates.

I also wouldn't rule out a cable issue.  I have one funky monitor that drops out for like 10 seconds a day always when I'm busiest.

Have changed to a differend display pord cable and checked if the right video card is recognised.
I will try to re-seat the GPU when i have the time, and hope that fixes issues, but all of this is weird, cant seem to get any solution to work.

The real problem was with monitor settings. I did not know the AMD FreeSync was turned on automatically on my monitor. When started to watch other programs with more caution, they had the same flashing problem but a lot less.
Hope it maybe helps others some day to not try and think the pc is broken!
