Adding VR-Collaboration in VRED for the HTC VIVE

Hello,

Trying to get the VRED_OpenVR_Scripts+Collaboration.vpb to work.

Have a local network with two computers on it but can’t get the Vred scene to work, keep getting the following error message on both machines.

Error message: socket.error: [Errno 10061] No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it

Even when I hit the “S” key in Vred Pro as a test it just freezes up…

I have followed the IP instructions and watched the Car Design News webinar many times. I can Remote Connect through both machines so the network is working. Can’t get the scene to connect to each other…

Any tips to get this running like the Car Design News demo would be great!

Are both Web Servers enabled in the preferences under WebInterface Module?

No they are not. I will enable the Web Servers on both machines and give that a shot...

Greetings,

I am trying to get this collaborate system working but so far I have been unsuccessful:

The ports are open, the server is running but when I start collaboration, the views just become jumpy and start to move and shift around in ways that make me nauseous.

Any ideas?

The terminal has the following output when I run the script provided:

The other machine repeats this:

vrNodePtr::setTransformMatrix : Node pointer == NullFC!
vrNodeUtils::getTransformNodeRotation Node == NULL!
vrNodeUtils::getTransformNodeScale Node == NULL!
vrNodeUtils::setTransformNodeRotation: node == NullFC!

I am not sure what to do with this information.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
