Crash when using Leap Motion in VRED 2018.4

Hi,

We are currently working with VRED 2018.4 on Windows7, and we decided to use Leap Motion.

We tried the example scene and script and followed the steps, but everytime we select Run Script, VRed crashes and the report error window appears.

Path of Lib-leap: C:\Users\userName\Autodesk\lib-leap

Path of LeapVRED: C:\Users\userName\Documents\Autodesk\VRED-10.2\ScriptPlugins

What could be the cause of this crash?

I have not tried the leap with VRED yet but from the crashdump I see that leap library is using an outdated compiler (Visual Studio 2012, VRED uses visual studio 2015). This can cause issues if their SDK does not have a strict C interface. If possible a library using visual studio 2015 should be used, not sure if they provide one.

But that is just a guess on what might cause the crash.
