Export texture from file

Hi,

I've received a vpb file from another studio containing textures.
They don't seem to be sourced from an external locations and seem to live inside the vpb file.

I've tried exporting the select meshes and materials as fbx but it doesn't export the textures.

Could you please let me know how to export the textures from that vpb file?

So what you can do to get all the textures saved out from a vpb file is save out the scene as a package.

Open your vred scene, then go to File - Save Package

It will ask you to save your scene file again and what it will do is save out a second folder called "images" that will have all the individual texture files extracted from the vred scene file into it.
