UI dont update in my VR plugin

Hello everybody,

I have a problem with my plugin, I created a Tool in the VR menu that the user can open to put annotation on a 3d model by clicking on the trigger while aiming with the laser.

This plugin is mean to be used with someone behind the computer, so he can put some text in the annotation, however when I want to change the annotation color (I put 8 QPushButton with a different background color and the user just aim them and press the trigger to change the annotation color), I want to display the current color, it works perfectly well on the computer but it doesnt update my vr plugin (I put a qLabel and I setStyleSheet to change the current color) and I need to create another annotation for it to update. And I just found that resizing the plugin window on the computer update my VR plugin UI like I want.

As you can see in the picture, I picked blue, it updated my computer plugin but not my VR plugin

I tried to update/repaint/processevent on the tool/the widget but I cant make it work, do I need to do something special to update the VR UI ? Or maybe its a QT problem ?

Hi,

it indeed seems like the update of the texture that is captured from the plugin is not triggered for some reason.

One thing you can try is to hide the label and show it again after changing the stylesheet:

label.hide()

label.show()
