I have an educational license, and in the download section I can download the 2020.0 release.

A few days ago, in the updates & add-ons section there was have the download link of 2020. 3 (and also the 2020.2 & 2020.1 ...)

But now, those download links disappeared from the updates & add-ons section. And it looks like this is happening in all of versions (2020.x, 2019.x, 2018.x).

HI, i did not know when and if it is changed from before, but to download Educational software you have to go to Educational Center.

Maybe here you can access to the updates downloads.

I´m not familiar with the student accounts at all. I always thought you have a normal subscription account? Do you have access to the .dot releases? Might be worth discussing this in the education community!!!
