Are you using Civil 3D or Map 3D?

Maybe you need to explain your question better. I am unsure why you posted this in the Customization forum. It seems like you merely want to assign a coordinate system to your drawing? Please explain.

Best,

~DD

@Fleww ,

If you only have a .dwg of this information and no way of confirming the correct coordinates of the geometry, then your ONLY hope is that whoever created the .dwg has imported the geometry correctly. The ONLY thing it seems that you can do in this instance is to assign your coordinate system to the drawing (using the EDITDRAWINGSETTINGS command) and hopefully it will be aligned correctly. If it is not, then there is NO CORRECT method to align your geometry to the coordinate system. Here is the coordinate system you are looking for I believe:

...If you need this information for VISUAL PURPOSES ONLY and NO PRECISION OR ACCURACY IS REQUIRED, then you could experiment with the ALIGN command to move the data to visually overlay in the area you desire.

...If you require precision and accuracy with this data, then you had better ask for the original data (NOT a .dwg file) from your source or seek it out yourself. There are many free online GIS data sources that have readily available information (ArcGIS is the main one that comes to mind). Perhaps they could have this information for you to download and import into your geo-located dwg file.

Best,

~DD
