For what it's worth, sometimes the reply is in HTML.  Usually I can read&lt;BR /&gt;
these OK.  Sometimes I am only able to read them by selecting "Reply to&lt;BR /&gt;
Group."  Occasionally I cannot read them at all until someone replies in&lt;BR /&gt;
plain text.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
One disadvantage to using this archaic newsreader.  &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":disappointed_face:"&gt;😞&lt;/span&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;
