Adding text to previous

This is an attempt to create a list of users that have logged into a
drawing. I have the basics set fine but i just wondered how i can do either
of the following (that i can see how to complete my program)

1) get the previous list and add it to the string of text

or

2) realise that the list already has got to point XX and add the name to the
end

If any body has any ideas how to do the above or any better suggestions - i
am all ears!!

There are two ways. First your can store the info in a external database
like access or SQL server. That's what we did when made our program
tracklog. Which das what your talking about. The second way would be to
store the info in the xdata directory. The only problem with that is that as
the list got bigger the drawing size would get better.
