Find/Replace text in Hyperlink URL

Hi,

I've been trying to take and old project file that has all the existing civil elements we need.

The thing is we manage our input information thru an excel file linked in the Hyperlink field of each objects.

That help to keep track of what's what on the drawing.

Well, now i'd like to keep the shown text cause it still refers at the correct line of information in the excel sheet.
But i want to update the pointed excel file.

I tought at first a simple "Find replace" would do the think ... but it doesnt seem to work.

I guess the find and replace only works on the field that show's text only and not the URL ?

Anyone know a lisp out there that could help ?

Well, i've found a workaround.

I've tryed at first with the long URL and then i decided to search/replace the different portion of the URL and it worked.

So sometimes it's just the search string the problem.

Hi,

even that I'm too late: my suggestion would have been to save the file as DXF, then use e.g. Notepad++ to open the DXF and run a simple search & replace inside the DXF. Then open the DXF in AutoCAD and save it as DWG.
