Hi Nigel,

We have a mining client that has some safty concerns with the loaded vehicles on their sites. They contacted us to see if we could do an analysis on their mining roads to set speed limits. They also are concerned on how the loaded trucks react at different speeds on different surface types, curves, slopes, etc. The sensor idea is very interesting!

Hello, AVT is awesome for 2D and 3D analysis! But we are looking for software that takes it a step further. We are looking for a software solution that will take into account vehicle dynamics (weight, load, center of gravity, road surface, etc.). I believe it would be tough to program something like this due to all the variables (tires, suspension, load balancing, etc.). I thought I would check anyways to see if you all have come across anything? Thanks, Rob

Rob,

What is the use case for the full dynamics analysis?

Knowing the use case would help in understanding the level of complexity that would be needed to resolve your requirement.

I have done full 3d vehicle models for very specialized vehicles and/or road conditions but these models need a lot of input from the vehicle makers and often require placing sensors etc on an actual vehicle to prove the model.
