Insert Vehicle Profile issues

Hello

First time poster, be gentle.

I've recently upgraded from AVT2017 to 2018 (ACAD 2018 also installed)

and now everytime I attempt to insert a vehicle profile it only inserts the dims and the text and no vehicle. Also it brings in two sets of both (one red, one blue).

I should have thought there was something wrong when the preview window would only show vehicles in plan and not in elevation.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Screen grabs to demonstrate my point.

Thanks for the feedback.

It's a known regression issue and planed to be fixed ASAP.

Is there a timeframe for when this will be resolved?

I still have deadlines to meet and clients like to see the vehicle details.

Hi Andy,

The fix is included into AVT 2018 HotFix1 and the hotfix1 will be release about July as planned.

Has the HotFix1 for Autodesk Vehicle Tracking (which will allow the vehicle elevation details to be displayed) been issued ? If it has can you point me to it please ?

Could you log into Autodesk Desktop App with your subscribed account?

The HF can be installed by ADA.

Or try to find it in https://manage.autodesk.com/cep/#products-services/updates

Do you have subscription account for Civil 3D 2018? AVT 2018 HF1 is also available for C3D user.

Hi Joanna

I am using Autocad 2018 in a trial version and do not have a subscription. I am testing the product between my existing Autoturn product, so I am keen to see if it compares in all aspects.

Not being able to see the vehicle outlines when you insert a vehicle profile is a bit of a let down. So if there is anyway to get the hotfit or a patch I would be very grateful?

I managed to download a hotfix which then allows the vehicle elevation and dimensions to be displayed.

Thanks for your reply and good to know there is a fix. As I am on a trial version is there anyway of getting the Hotfix? Is it possible for you to email me the link or the file? as I can not seem to find anything anywhere.

When I login to my Desktop App there is no download or fixes in that.

I would be very grateful for your help.

I wasn't you got my message as I kept getting an error statement.

Here is the advice that I got re the vehicle profile - see below. Give it a try but if you don't manage to resolve it then let me know and I will see if I can assist further.

It's my first post here because I'm still having this problem and I don´t know if it's due to my CAD version is 2018.1.1 (the last one) and the Vehicle Tracking HotFix is 2018.0.

Can anyone tell me if has solve the problem and how?

Yes, Vehicle Tracking 2018 HotFix 1 addresses the missing profile outlines in the drawing and vehicle explorer.

Hi again,

The problem was that I did not have administrator privileges and although I got it and everything was installed correctly, there are still elevations of vehicles that are not displayed...
