Can R13 use Visual Basic

I have R13 and want to learn VB but I am pretty sure that R13 does not
support VB - is this true?

You can use DDE to "communicate"with acad 13 (i already did that with
version 12) but that's like, say, using smoke signals. it's a bit complex
and very limited.
If You want to learn VB, this is not a solution. If you're on a budget,
this is the only one.
