Check the Customer Files newsgroup. Somebody [or should I say Nobody] posted the first session of a course that I'm teaching this semster for AUGI. That posting should have everything you need to see how to implement the Open and SaveAs common dialogs using the Windows API.
The course was available through www.augi.com. However, I don't believe that you can sign-up now [we are already six weeks into the course].
