Passing values from VBA to Lisp

Is their a better way?

I know how to write a file from VB/A and read it into Lisp. But, it would
be really nice to be able to pass the values back and forth or atleast from
VBA to Lisp. If anyone has a piece of sample code or a clue where I should
be looking for this I would appreciate it.
