i've run into a problem where a VBA program has been running fine in all versions of AutoCAD until this 2004 DX version. it appears to bomb on a line that uses the format function. is this a know problem? is there a workaround? are there other know issues?

Louis, in 2004 DX ??? What is DX ? Can you post the part of the code that bugs ? One neat way to test one line of code, is to try it in the Immediate window. Sometimes its saves a lot of work.
