topic Where is 64-bit VBA enabler for ACD2010? in VBA Forum

Clicking the link for the 64-bit file on the support page downloads a file named autocad2010vbaenabler640.exe. When I run it in Win7 64, I get the message "... autocad2010vbaenabler640.exe is not a valid Win32 application."

Fine, but where is the 64-bit version??

Hi,

I'm not sure, but what OS do you have running? It looks like you have a 32bit OS.

- alfred -

Hi Alfred - I'm not sure why you would think that, as I mentioned that I ran the enabler download in Win 7 64.

When you go to the VBA enabler page and click the link for ACAD 2010 64-bit, the file that's downloaded seems to be for the 32-bit version. I'm running the 64-bit version of AutoCAD 2010, so that's the version of the VBA Enabler I'd like to get. The file on the VBA Enabler web page seems to be incorrectly named.

dave

Thanks, Alfred. It's an unknown problem.

I tried downloading the file on my home machine (Win 7 Pro 64) and it executed normally. But none of us in my office, running 64-bit versions of either Win 7 or XP can run it - there, we get the "not a 32-bit application" error.

I don't know what the problem is - other than having to download stuff for work from my home machine!
