Vault 2020 Backup take too long/multiple validations.

I am creating a vault backup on our 2020 Vault Server and have been trying for 72 hours using the Vault backup utility in the ADMS console. The Database size is 20GB and the file store is 595GB. Question, how many File Store validations is supposed to run before I get a backup? The backup was configured to NOT Validate the Backup files and NOT backup the Standard Content Center Libraries yet thus far what is happening is the file store validation is re-running itself for the third time and counting now. Has anyone else run into this validation loop and or how to pull a viable backup in a reasonable amount of time?

There are two validations that the backup could perform. Pre and Post backup validation.

You configured the backup not to perform the post-backup validation only.

You cannot configure it to not validate pre-backup.

Can you share your console log file so we can evaluate what is being recorded?

We may have misleading text in it, calling it a validation step when it isn't.

Also, are you performing the backup using the Task Scheduler or did you start it manually using the ADMS Console?

I contacted our Autodesk pulled someone in to attempt this and he did a few things network wise, but the configuration was the same.
