Renaming library parts

I have an assembly in my Vault project (in the Design files directory). I want to rename a part in one of my Library folders that is used in the assembly in the Design folder. When I rename the library part, the assembly in the Design folder doesn't change its reference to the new name of the library part.

Is there a way to fix this issue so that the assembly is automatically updated?

Your Inventor project file needs to be set to include the library location/folder: File > Manage > Projects > select the Vault project that should be checked out to modify it > right-click "Libraries" > Add Path. Vault should then take care of updating the reference.
