Why are the parents always downloaded when I check something out of the Vault? I only want that one specific ipt, iam, or idw. I don't want a copy of every instance where the specific component is used being moved to my working drive.

Will,

In the Settings of the Get/Checkout dialog, you can deselect the option to not check out the parents. Have you tried this?
