DWFs created for an IDW on the computer show no text

Hi,

I've ran into a strange problem. When I create a visualisation file of an IDW using Vault on the computer, it doesn't display any text, however if I do it using the Vault mobile app on a iPad, the visualisation file looks fine. I have tried this on several computers and have come across the same problem. Visualisation files used to work fine, older IDWs have their text on them. There are several things I have implemented in Vault since I last remember visualisations working:

Enabled the job processor
Ran workspace sync
Added some required properties for files of a certain category (which includes IWDs)
Made changes to the Vault Data Standard

I had at first thought it would have been the job server causing issues, but the DWFs are set to be created on check-in on the local machine, and it does not matter whether I update them locally or on the job processor, the issues still persists. I have included a screenshot from both the computer and iPad. Note, this is only a problem for IDWs, PDFs display correctly. Does anyone know what could be causing my issue?

Hi Yogeshwar.

We are running Vault Professional 2024. I have sent you the files 'Shelf 2.ipt', 'Shelf 2.idw' and 'Shelf 2.idw.dwf'. I have tested many files and I've had this problem with every one of them, so it's not file specific. If I open the dwf in Design Review it displays fine, it's only within Vault I get the problem.

Have you checked the fonts being used in the drawing?

Download the DWF from the Vault Client and open it in Design Review to verify that the text is in the DWF.

You will have to turn on "Show Hidden Files" in the Vault Options.

The DWF is fine if I view it through Design Review, it's only when I try viewing it in Vault that the text is missing.

Yogeshwar, did you get the files? Did you have any luck recreating the issue ?

Irvin, any updates in regards to the build number?

I've noticed we have similar issues with DWGs as well.
