Thank you, Irvin.

I try install Office 2010 Filter Pack and SP2 on test server this morning. after installation, under index option, I found Office Outlook MSG Ifilter for msg file. but I found nothing when I test search content in msg at vault client, other office file (xls(x), doc(x), ppt(x)) works fine.

What could be wrong?

I don't feel comfortable to install msg filter from Microsoft Windows Desktop Search, becuase, 1st, it's too old, 6/30/2008; 2nd, it's not 64 bit. Our search is Windows Server 2012 64 bit.

Back to my original question, do install Microsoft Office 2010 64 bit will bring all office ifilter?

also where is the best place I can search and post this kind of question? Microsoft Office MSDN forum?

Thank you so much

Wes
