Vault Folder Working Locations

I am having issues setting up the vault.

Everything works great, except for folder locations.

This is my project. Vault option under the project has the virtual folder = $/Designs and Publish = (nothing)

I have it set to /Vault.

I try to save it to /vault and it says it is not in the project. I then try to save to /vault/designs and am find saving it. I don't mind working off of /vault/designs. The project is, as seen below, when I check it in, it puts it in the vault under /designs/designs.

I am having trouble finding the location so it just goes into the vault as /designs.There is some disconnect here, just not sure where.

It'll be tricky to talk you through that over forum messages. In the first instance, check out this video as I've detailed all the correct steps for setting up the project file for Vault:

If you want to name the folders to something different you can do, but the above is a best practice setup for connecting Inventor to Vault Basic, it might help you understand the connectivity and folder mappings?
