&lt;P&gt;I think you are misunderstanding this thread.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The problem is that the user attempted to send the DWF creation to the Job Processor but it was not enabled and they were not planning on using the Job Processor.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Therefore, to not get the error, the suggestion was to turn it off.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;To discuss the need for DWFs. You are correct that they are needed for visualization through the Vault Client and Thin Client, but the question is, when is the DWF needed.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Some want DWFs for every version. Therefore, you would turn on the option to send the creation to the Job Processor during check-in.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;For others, they may only need the DWF when the files are released. Then they would turn it on as an Action during the transition to the Released state.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;There are those who don't create them at all. Yup, this is true. These users prefer to use the actual models and use Inventor Read-only or DWG TrueView.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
