Project Mapping Error Read Only

I've just recently released all parts to a project with different categories but now have an issue with managing project files. I have eliminated the extra project file paths from the home screen, such that the default and company projects are the only available files. However, I cannot resolve the file as the project file is read only. Is this an admin task? I have checked out the assembly but cannot reacquire the necessary paths. I can also confirm the active project file is in my workspace and vault.

i have found checking back in the assembly, having inventor opened at home, then opening the assembly from vault clears the error. Is this intentional or is there an error in the program?

Based on the error message, you are running the Job Processor on your machine. The Job Processor creates these temporary project files in the Temp location.

If you continue to run the Job Processor on your machine, you will get these messages.

Would running the processor via remote access cause the same result? I do not run the processor from my machine directly, I use an rdp to access the processor on a separate machine.

My team is planning to use RemotePC for accessing the processor without having to physically be present at the other PC. What would be the best way to access the processor remotely?

No, running it remotely will not cause this on a local PC.

Are you performing an Update View - Locally sometimes?

I had to perform several updates on the model. Several parts had to be recategorized and checked back in and out while adjusting lifecycle states.

Let me clarify my question.

Have you gone to the View tab, selected the Update button, and used Update locally?

I have performed the update. The model is available for viewing in vault, but I am still receiving the same error in inventor

Sorry, I am still not being clear.

I didn't want you to execute that command, I was asking if you use that command on a regular basis?

Make sure you are answering yes to delete those entries.

I do not use the update command for the view tab at all. For deleting the entries, would these be the temporary ipj's, or another prompt?

I clicked ok when it did prompt. I removed the extra project files and only have these available. The prompt no longer displays when attempting to open a file.
