Thin Client preview show thumbnail instead of full screen preview

We are looking to start using Autodesk Thin Client with Firefox.

I have installed firefox on two different station and start a week ago to update view for all drawing of our vault.

When update was complete on some files, I look in Thin Client (both station) and preview and download visualisation were correct.

So I installed firefox on a 3rd station.

On that station, the preview show only a small thumbnail and the download visualisation show a blank page for the drawing that were update prior the installation of firefox. For file update after the installation of firefox, everything (preview and download visualisation) are correct.

Any idea to solve this issue, because I don't want to have to re-update the 10,000 files already update.

Hi, the Thin Client is only supported with Internet Explorer. To view the visualization file requires a browser plugin from Autodesk Design Review which isn't available for Firefox and the latest versions of Chrome.

Thank for your support.

But I have the exact same problem with IE (and the plugins is install). Is the installation of firefox I made on friday may have change something for IE.

Moreover, with IE, if we preview a drawing, all command are available. But if we close that preview and open a 2nd drawing, all the command disappear. So we decide few weeks ago to use another browser than IE.

Google Chrome give us another kind of problem and firefox was looking good until this situation appear.

And why the file that were update after installing firefox are working correctly?

I would say that your issues in IE are not related to the issues you have in Firefox.

Did you open the Vault client and navigate to the file you are looking at in the Thin Client and verify that it has a DWF file created? You should see it when you click on the Thumbnail in the Preview tab of the Vault Client.

Also, run a repair on the Design Review installation to see if that resolves the problem with IE.

The DWF file are correctly created (verify in the vault client and on 2 test station with firefox install 2 weeks ago, the file preview open properly).

The repair for Autodesk design review didn't help.

We have the same issues with IE, Firefox and Chrome. I had a case open with Autodesk Support but we could not pinpoint the issue and Autodesk could not replicate the problem.

I really hope there is a fix to this and soon! The Thin Client is basically useless to many of our customers!

I was chasing this problem earlier today. My solution was the Thin Client was showing only one version and it was not the most recent version. In the top right corner on the "File Details" page of your file there is a "Toggle All Versions" button next to the "Configure Properties" and the "Print" buttons. This "Toggle All Versions" should show more versions and one of them will be the most recent case. Best case scenario, there are only two versions.
