Add / Update Factory Asset in Vault Library - Allow Duplicates needed in Vault ?

Hi all,

With Factory Design Suite and Autodesk Vault, until version 2016, it was necessary to allow duplicates (NOT "Enforce Unique File Names") in the Vault to add a Factory Asset in the Library.
Is it still necessary in 2017 version ?

The answer is No. if a user chooses to drag a bunch of loose files from a local library to a Vault, then "allow duplicates" is required to accommodate the family.xml files. Other than that, in Factory Design 2017, each asset in vault is stored as a single unique file, it does not require "allow duplicates" to be turned on.
