Hello,

it is hard to tell what is going on based on just the blank screen, but let's try a couple of things:

1. log into your Vault Pro client, and go to the "Tools | Factory Configuration" menu. do you see your asset libraries listed in the "Factory Configuration" dialog box that comes up?

2. if noting is in the list, can you configure your asset libraries in this dialog, and then refresh the in-CAD Factory Asset Browser?

My company's Vault server was upgraded from 2017 to 2018 yesterday...and now no one can use any Factory Assets in Inventor; the Asset Browser is blank (see attachment). We can still see our existing folder structure in the Vault Pro clients fine, and I can Get/Open/Check out the Assets...but if I try and publish them back to the Vault, I always get the message "error was encountered while attempting to propagate the published asset..."

Is this a simple configuration problem on our end as the end-users/clients, or was a mistake made in the upgrade that needs to be fixed by the service provider that did the upgrade? Obviously they need to help fix this, but my users are getting impatient, hence this posting.

Thanks for the reply.

Before your message came through, I had already spoken with our implementation consultant, who has no idea what's going one. We decided to roll-back and setup a separate box in the future for testing these "upgrades" completely away from out production environment. But again, thanks for the help, and I'll post again in the near future if need be.
