Vault removes Xref layer overrides when renaming Xrefs

Hi Guys

I have come across an issue with renaming xref files

What I did

Rename xref files with the rename Wizard in Vault

Worked fine

This process works in the past

Then I go to get files that have the xref overlay or attached within them. And all the layer overrides have reset

At first i thought it was because VISRETAIN was set to 0 but it was set to 1.

Does anyone have any idea what cause the problem

Hi rwcondon,

It was a known issue with renaming xref attachments, setting VISRETAIN to 1 won't help. The issue is fixed from Vault 2018 Update 2 onwards.
