Job Processor doesn't always publish PDF in Vault 2018

I've got the job processor in Vault 2018 setup to automatically publish a PDF when the file lifecycle transitions from Work in Progress to Released. But, for some reason, it doesn't always work and it doesn't work for other users.

I have the job types selected like this.

I have the lifecycle state transition set like this.

I also made sure to delete any "Other Files" property mappings, as I've read where that will prevent the Job Processor from running properly.

I had it working fine for awhile. But I have another user that can't get it to work at all and I've tried it again as Admin on my machine and it works for some files, but not others and I can't narrow it down to why.

Ideas???

Does the Job Processor user have full control in the "release" state? They would need at least the ability to modify the file. Thanks, Jim

That seemed to fix one problem and discover another one. The other user can now publish PDF, but now the part number property is left blank when the other user does it, but it populates fine when I do it as an Administrator.

What property mappings do you have for PDF files? Is that column the TTOLMAX property? Also, I would look at the help topic "Publish PDF from 2D CAD Files". I am speculating that the Lifecycle associated with the PDF is missing a mapping. -Jim

That's it. It's using a different lifecycle for Design Representation. Once I granted "Modify" access to the other users, all is good again. Thank you!
