topic Upgrade before or after loading in Vault Forum

I need some advice on how to proceed. We are implementing Vault Pro for the first time. I have thousands of files in Autocad Ver 14 format. Yes that is correct, Ver 14, back when Clinton was president.

As part of the project we have upgraded to the latest version of Autocad. So my question is should we upgrade the drawings and then load them in the Vault, or load them into the Vault and then upgrade? Any suggestions?

I'm the IT guy trying to drag a bunch of engineers out of darkness and into the light, so any suggestions on how to move ahead would be appreciated.

Bernie

Hi,

I recommend that you upload them and upgrade them when the designers edit them as part of the checkout process.
