Vault Won't "Get" Children's Attachments?

I asked this question in another post (https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/vault-forum/is-there-a-way-to-get-all-files-attached-to-an-assemby-and-its/td-p/8209871) but the post was labelled as "Answered" so I figure people might skip over it.

I'm running Vault Workgroup 2019 with no service packs or hotfixes. I've started using the Job Processor to create PDFs and that's running smoothly.

So my current state is that I have PDF's attached to each file, and DXF's attached to certain parts. My end goal is to have all childrens attachments (PDFs and DXFs) in a single folder so that I can create a combined PDF and send out the DXFs as well. (We have some common components in different folders, so I want to put everything in the same folder as my output, which is why I'm trying "pack and go")

Problem is that I can't seem to either "get" or "pack and go" from the top level and have it include all attachments of children.

If I select the top level drawing and all children and attachments I get all childrens models and drawings, but only the top level models attachment. (I've tried turning all of the other options on as well just to be safe such as related documentation, dependents and parents)

How can I "get" or "pack and go" and end up with ALL attachments of all children as well?

Unfortunately it is. That must mean it's currently not available I assume.

Hello,

Actually its not Children file's attachment not getting collected. I see that the attachments of the documentation file of the children (files attached to the Drawing files associated of children ipt/iam files) are not getting collected in Get OR Pack and Go actions.

And sorry but this is currently Not supported.

Good point. I didn't actually have any DXFs attached to the parts yet, but once I did, I realized that they still got downloaded. (I assumed that it was attachments of children that was the problem, but you're right it's actually attachments of the documentation that's the problem)

So it would be quite painful to do for hundreds of drawings, but if I were to reattach the PDFs to the part files instead, it would work fine.
