Hello,

Note:

Revit 2018 can only work with Vault 2018 Revit addin. Revit 2019 will not have Vault Revit addin till you install Vault 2019 client.

Revit 2018 addin can connect to Vault 2019 server.

If you talking about opening Revit files from Vault 2018 client, 'Open' action will obey the Windows setting for opening the file type with the associated program. Vault client do not govern which application (Revit 2018 or Revit 2019 in your question) to use while opening the Revit files.

Regards,

hi,

My vault server is 2019, vault client is 2018, revit 2018 and revit 2019

Question 1: When I open revit2018 file in Vault Server, can I associate the programe revit2018 to open it ? On the other hand, open revit2019 file, use the program revit2019?

Thank you for your help
