Could not retrieve Watermark information

We have a test Vault environment where I have created a test lifecycle for parts (item category).

However, if I select a part, change the lifecycle to the new one and click on the dwg to get a preview, I get the Message: Could not retrieve Watermark information.
If I switch back to our normal lifecycle and try the same, I don't get the Error

Why does this message appear?

How did you configure your Lifecycle Watermarks? Is the part assigned to an Item?

So.... how did you set up the Watermarks? I ask because if everything is configured correctly, then the problem is something deeper.

Based on the video that you sent me, the New Test lifecycle definition has not been assigned in the Watermark configuration. Go to Vault Settings\Items. In the middle is the Watermark settings for Items. Set this to Lifecycle Based, and then select Configure to define what the Watermark should look like at each state, for each lifecycle definition. Since this Test lifecycle is brand new, probably nothing has been defined for it yet.
