what do I need to delete in registry to make the computer believe that there are no vault install on my computer?

My computer fail to complete the uninstall processe , so now my computer belive that vaul is install even if it is deleted.. so it will not allow me to reinstall it. and the old vault is gone.

Autodesk Installer checks the GUID of the product under below register key to judge if this product is installed or not. HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Products

but it's not a official supported way to delete the registry keys manually to cheat installer. we recommend you to uninstall product through the product entry in control panel.

if you are working with 2022 Autodesk products, most of them has uninstall helper in C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Uninstallers. you can also delete specific products through it's uninstall helper.

uninstall product through the product entry in control panel is not possible any more because when I try to do it ... it fail late in the process so control panel belive it is already uninstall, but installer believe it still there

The Vault installation consists of several msi packages. What you can try is to manually uninstall all msi packages through their product code.

That I can give you all the product codes I need to know which Autodesk Vault version you have ?

For example "Autodesk Vault Professional 2019 German" ?

We have vault pro 2020.1. 1 english. but I really do not need the help anymore sind we endte up with format the Computer and reinstall windows and all the program. To fix this..

The computer do run better now .. but it did not fix the problem with Vault keep crashing a lot form time to time that was the reason for reinstalling vault in the first place

please have a try install the latest Update 2020.3 and 2020.3.3. you can get them from https://accounts.autodesk.com.

that are currently not an option for me. The cost benefits level is too low. , and under alot of time pressure right now.. so no time for down time

Use Microsoft fix it, it will clean up any existing files that maybe missed during an uninstall, its saved my bacon a few times

I might try that next time .. this time we ende up delete og reinstall all the program og windows to make it work
