I need Help! Domain user import replaced the administrator account!

I need help! Last friday i did import a new domain user and when it completed, this user have replaced the original vault administrator account. Every files checked out by administrator is now checked out by this user. Everything done by administrator is now done by this user. I have my domain account set with administrator rights and still can do admins things, so my question is, if i do a full restore of Vault with a full backup wich was done the night before this bug occurs, will it repair this? I mean, users accounts will be restored too? I really need help with this i a m scared to try something and loose all the works done to get Vault populated with all of our drawings....

Importing users could not have replaced the default Administrator account. You would have had to select the default Administrator's Vault account and promoted it to a domain user account. If this is what was done, you can demote the account, removing its connection to the domain, and make sure the name is "Administrator".

There isn't a need to perform a restore.

Thank you for your answer, i understand what you say but it did happen. I already imported a lot of domain users and i did not promote any vault account to domain user. Thank you for your solution it worked.

How this happened I don't know but what I did was like all the other i've imported. I choosed Import Domain User, i've typed his user name, verify user name, the system found him and i clicked ok. Then I went to set his rights and he got all my administrator rights and couldn't find administrator account anymore.

Well, now your solution worked, I got back my administrator account and re-imported that domain user and everything is fine now.

Maybe I did click Promote, and the first account of the list is always already selected and it was administrator. I'll double check next time to be sure. Thank you again
