Send drawings to colleague for Review

Hi,

I've just returned to Inventor and Vault after and a 7-year break, and have a question regarding vault.

The company I started working for again, is using Vault Professional 2021, but we are far from using it to its potential.

Therefore I'm trying to learn a lot more about it.

My question is as follow:

Is it possible to somehow send my drawings to a colleague for Review, so he/she can approve or not approve, then send back that result to me, so I can release or fix the problem?

Welcome back!

You can use Shared Views in both Inventor and Vault, to create a visualization of your files and share them with whomever you wish. The shared view is active for 30 days and those who you share it with can comment, add markups etc... all without modifying the original file which stays safely inside your Vault.
