AutoCAD drawings releasing issue while maintaining Parent & Child Relations

I`m suffering from various problems while using vault with AutoCAD Drawings. Procedure which I done are as follows with AutoCAD Drawing Files which have Parts, Assembly & Subassemblies:

1. From AutoCAD, I`ve made parent Child relation with Parts, Assembly & Subassemblies using XREF command in AutoCAD.

2. Checked in to Vault.

3. In Vault, I`ve assigned the Category in the "Project Explorer" Folder. And assigned the State as "Work in Progress" to all the Parts, Assembly & Subassemblies.

When I changed the Assembly state to Released Stage, its parts & Subassemblies didn't changed the Sate and remains in "Work in Progress". How will it get change & what is the Procedure?

The same I did it within "ITEM Master" as well But there also the same problem? Where I`m doing wrong?

Please suggest in both the steps i.e. in "Project Explorer" & in "ITEM Master" with Procedures.

If you need "child"/dependent files to be released with their parent file, you have to:

1) Include dependent files at the change state prompt:

2) Set your Lifecycle transition to only allow the parent files to be released if child files are in a "Released" type state:

Step 2 is a restriction that forces the process to be done correctly, according to your intent. You can change lifecycle transition behavior for both the file and item lifecycles.
